Program "TOTAL DEFENCE FOR UKRAINE: LEADING A RESILIENT COUNTRY" is designed to explore how Ukrainian society can transform the experience of exceptional solidarity and effective horizontal cooperation during the first year of the full-scale war into sustainable strategies for national resilience. It brings together leaders from diverse sectors, senior government officials, the military, civil society, and business, who bear unprecedented responsibility in wartime. Program is created by the The NGO Join Ukraine, jointly with the Ukrainian Catholic University, the Swedish Government Agency for Peace, Security and Development, and the Swedish Psychological Defence Agency.
Програма «TOTAL DEFENCE FOR UKRAINE: LEADING A RESILIENT COUNTRY» покликана дослідити, як українське суспільство може перетворити досвід надзвичайної солідарності та ефективної горизонтальної взаємодії в перший рік повномасштабної війни на сталі стратегії національної стійкості.
Вона об’єднує лідерів з різних секторів — представників вищих органів державної влади, військових, громадянського суспільства та бізнесу, які несуть безпрецедентну відповідальність у воєнний час.
Програма створена ГО «Стань з Україною» спільно зі з Українським Католицьким Університетом, Шведським урядовим агентством з питань миру, безпеки та розвитку та Шведським агентством психологічного захисту.
"Join Ukraine" assists Ukrainian state institutions in developing strategic communications, researches the Russian military machine in terms of sociocultural, security, and information policies, and advocates for Ukraine's interests abroad and trains leaders on the concept of Total Defense together with Ukrainian Catholic University and Swedish government institutions.
The organization was established in May 2022 as an evolution of a volunteer movement of professional communications experts and socio-political researchers in response to the full-scale invasion.
Key experts of the organization have 15+ years of experience working in government organizations, civil society organizations, and the communications sector.
Since 2022, the organization's partners have included the Defense Forces of Ukraine (Ministry of Defense, Security Service of Ukraine, Territorial Defense, Special Operations Forces), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security under the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Strategic Industries.
"Join Ukraine" team believes that joining the efforts of state institutions and civil society helps
Ukraine resist the aggressor and brings it closer to victory.

Our videos have garnered hundreds of millions of views and reactions worldwide, reposted by leading global media outlets and top officials from the United States, Europe, and beyond. The stories we tell help keep the topic of Ukraine’s resistance to Russian aggression in the global spotlight, reinforce the framing of Russia as the aggressor, and support advocacy for continued military assistance.
